2009-2010 Kalkaska County Board of Commissioners

The Kalkaska County Board of Commissioners are elected for two-year terms. They meet the second Tuesday after the first Monday of each month. Meetings are held in their chambers which are located in the Administration Building of the county complex located on Birch Street, in Kalkaska, Michigan. Their secretary is Julie Naasko. She is located in the Accounting Office also in the Administration Building. She can be reached at 231-258-3336. If you would like to be placed on the agenda for the BOC meeting, please call Julie Naasko prior tothe Finance Committee meeting the week before the BOC meeting. If you would like to be placed on a Committee Agenda, please call Julie Naasko two (2) days prior to the committee meeting date. The Kalkaska County Board of Commissioners agreed at their July 14th, 2009 meeting to accept the amendments below. The process now includes that each township in Kalkaska County and the Village must vote on the amendments and they must be approved by 67% of the townships and village.
