Buzz Harcus Local author Buzz Harcus gives us "China Marine: TsingTao Treasure", an adventure novel about former Marines who return to China to find treasure that was hidden away at the close of WWII.	David-Walks-As-Bear Books for kids and books for adults have been written by this prolific local author. Look for The L.P.; Murmurings; and How to Become a Swamp Creature by author David Walks-As-Bear.
Lee Boisvert Local resident Lee Boisvert, editor of the 2007 Michigan Notable Book Award winning title "Keewaydinoquay: Stories From My Youth". Keewadinoquay was a reknowned storyteller and herbalist with both Native American and European ancestry, and was trained in both Native healing and western medicine.	Dr. Robert Parker Dr. Parker has written the definitive biography (and Michigan Notable Book Award winning title) of one of Michigan's most fascinating women: Jane Johnston Schoolcraft, Native American author/poet/storyteller and figure of historic significance in early Michigan history.
Elizabeth Buzzelli Elizabeth is a local author. She is a freelance journalist, and a creative writing instructor at NMC in Traverse City. Her latest book is Dead Dancing Women, the first title in her new "Emily Kincaid Mysteries". Expect book two of this series in 2009.	Steve Lehto Steve Lehto's Michigan Notable Books Award winning title "Death's Door", chronicles his investigation into the Calumet 1913 Christmas Eve deaths of over 60 men, women and children. Barbara Siepker Barbara Siepker presents her Michigan Notable Book Award winning title: "Historic Cottages of Glen Lake" on April 22, 2009 at the Senior Center in Kalkaska. Siepker encouraged all communities to document their historic lakefront communities, as so many of them are being leveled and then replaced by modern edifices.	Nancy Shaw Nancy Show promotes her "Michigan Reads" children's book "Raccoon Tune" April 23, 2009. Shaw visited the elementary school and the library in her swing through town.
Joe Heywood Reknowned Michigan author Joe Heywood addresses a full house at Gio's Trattoria Grille (2009). His "Woods Cop" mystery series becomes more popular with every installment. His best sellers The Berkut and The Snowfly are perennial favorites.	Elizabeth Buzzelli Elizabeth Buzzelli promoting her newest installment in her popular Emily Kincaid mystery series: Dead Floating Lovers. It was a standing room only crowd in the bar at Gio's Trattoria Grille, caught up in her witty and lively presentation.
Steve Lehto Steve Lehto makes a 2nd appearance with his 2nd Michigan Notable Book Award. "Michigan's Columbus: the life of Douglass Houghton" describes a young man who was a physician, a geologist, surveyor, and more. Lehto's book describes a multi-talented man who made significant discoveries during early Michigan history.	Richard Olechowski, photographer Self-taught amatuer photographer Olechowski shared with us his extensive collection of photographic works, and his special fondness for creating panoramas.
Doc Fletcher Jeff "Doc" Fletcher, author of "Michigan Rivers Less Paddled" and "Weekend Canoeing in Michigan" pictured at his presentation in June, 2010. A highly entertaining program filled with local lore and history.
