Shelly has been on the Planning Commission since 1998.  She worked for Forest Area Community Schools for 26 years in the transportation department and as a teacher aide at the K-2 level.  She was injured at work and forced into early retirement.  Shelly also serves the township as chairperson on the Zoning Board of Appeals and Deputy Treasurer.
