On or before March 1st of each year, the owner of a dog four (4) months old or older, shall apply to the county where the owner resides, for a license for each dog owned or kept by him. Such application for a license shall be accompanied by a current proof of vaccination of the dog for rabies, signed by an accredited veterinarian.

A person who owns or harbors a dog shall produce proof of a valid dog license upon request of a person who is authorized to enforce this act.

Dog license go on sale December 1st of each year and become delinquent March 1st of each year.

2010 Dog license fees are as follows:

$12.00 if not spayed or neutered
$10.00 for spayed and neutered dogs

If license is purchased after the last day of February the fee is $25.00.

A dog clinic is held in February of each year at the Civic Center with reduced cost rabies vacines and dog licenses available - NO CATS PLEASE



Dog Rabies Vaccination Clinic will be in February at the Civic Center on Fairgrounds Rd.  Cost is $10.00 for each Rabies Vaccination. Dog  Licenses will be sold that day  $10.00 for Spayed or Neutered Dogs $12.00 if not Spayed or Neutered.
