WOW! Summer is almost over already! Our Pre-School Storytime series will begin September 16th, at the same day and time: Fridays at 10am.

Here is a list of some of the new easy readers that just arrived in time for back-to-school reading:

"Hooray for Fly Guy" the lastest installment of the Fly Guy series by the terrifically funny and somewhat twisted Tedd Arnold.

and

"One Boy" an enchanting book by Laura Vaccaro Seeger.  This Theodor Seuss Geisel Honor book introduces the concept of words within words to early readers.

and

"Squirrel Kits" an easy reader non-fiction book (call number J. 599.36)  about baby squirrels, by Ruth Owen.  Includes many enchanting close-up photos of those cute little critters, their families and their habits.

and

"Five Little Monkeys Play Hide-and-Seek" is here! Welcome a new addition to bed-jumping monkey fun as they expand their talents to include tormenting an unsuspecting babysitter. 

The library also has a great collection of junior and young adult books on CD and on cassette (including book/cassette "kits").  Check out our kids' magazines and our new Teen Center, too.
