Memorial Day

                                                      REMEMBER      ~          HONOR

 This year will be different from past Memorial Day observances.       The Honor Guard from Kalkaska American Legion Post 480, and the Auxiliary from VFW Post 8684 will be conducting a  Flag Raising ceremony at Senior Haven at 10:00 a.m..   They will then proceed to the Veterans Memorial in front of the Museum at 10:30 am.   Their last Ceremony will be at 11:00 am at Evergreen Cemetery.    The Ceremony will include  the reading of the names of the Veterans who have passed away this past year, a wreath-laying by the Auxiliary,  a rifle volley,  and will conclude with the playing of Taps.
