Memorial Day
REMEMBER ~ HONOR
The Honor Guard from Kalkaska American Legion Post 480, and the Auxiliary from VFW Post 8684 will be conducting a Flag Raising ceremony at Senior Haven at 10:00 a.m.. They will then proceed to the Veterans Memorial in front of the Museum at 11:00 am. At 12:00 noon there will be a Ceremony at the Veterans Memorial at Evergreen Cemetery. The Ceremony will include the reading of the names of Veterans who have passed away since last Memorial Day, a wreath-laying by the Auxiliary, a rifle volley, and will conclude with the playing of Taps.
