Memorial Day

                                                      REMEMBER      ~          HONOR

        This year will be different from past Memorial Day observances.       The Honor Guard from Kalkaska American Legion Post 480, and the VFW Post 8684 Auxiliary will be will be conducting a  ceremony at Senior Haven at 10:00 a.m..   They will then proceed to the Veterans Memorial in front of the Museum at 10:30 am.   Their last ceremony will be at 11:00 am at Evergreen Cemetery.   The ceremony will include  the reading of the names of the Veterans who have passed away this past year, a wreath-laying by the Auxiliary,  a rifle volley,  and will conclude with the playing of Taps.
